Welcome, I’m Abby.

I’m a somatic teacher and practitioner.

I’m here to teach you the language of your body, so you can uncover its intelligence and find the ease and pleasure of being alive. Your body has a language, and it takes you to wholeness.

I came into the body after spending 2 decades running in circles in my head. Trying to find meaning and healing, I read books, traveled the world, and mentally analyzed all the details of my life… but none of these permanently helped.

My life changed when I discovered the felt sense…

 

What is the felt sense?

If you’ve ever had a gut sense about a person or a situation, but you can’t put your finger on it…that’s your felt sense speaking to you.

The felt sense is a whole bodily knowing. Your body is constantly collecting and storing information from your environment. Our conscious mind can only translate a small amount of that data. If we can learn the language of the felt-sense, then we have access to a deeper way of knowing, access to our intuition and our subconscious.

Body Intelligence

Our bodies are brilliant. When we relate to it as a guiding star, an inner GPS, reading and heeding the signals it sends us, we open up to a world of possibilities. The body is our subconscious and is a bridge leading us to a richer life of meaning and depth, to the mystery.

Embodiment

Emotions are energy in motion. Stuck energy stored in the body makes it hard to be in our body. These stuck energies are stored in our muscles, tissues, organs, fascia, cells, and bones. Somatic approaches using movement, breath, sound, and touch can help liberate energies & the body.
